We are now proudly selling Red Sea Max Aquariums and they are in stores today! Max is the only true plug & play complete coral reef aquarium system available. The Red Sea MAX has been designed to allow you to focus on the beauty and diversity of your own piece of coral reef, rather than worrying about component selection, suitability and compatibility.

What is a Coral Reef Aquarium?

A true coral reef aquarium will be capable of supporting a thriving community of corals, anemones and other invertebrates, as well as fish, shrimps, starfishes etc.
Corals and other invertebrates have specific requirements in terms of water conditions, and are far less tolerant of incorrect levels and changes in parameters than commonly kept marine fish.

Lighting plays a key part in the success of a coral reef aquarium, as corals require the right balance and intensity of lighting in order to live and grow. Additionally, the removal of dissolved organic compounds becomes essential, as does an appropriate rate of water circulation, and overall water clarity.

If you are considering a coral reef aquarium, you should ensure it achieves three basic criteria, in order for your corals and other inhabitants to thrive. Remember, it is often difficult to upgrade an aquarium, so consider this factor also when making your choice:

  • Coral Reef Spec Lighting
  • Coral Reef Spec Filtration
  • Coral Reef Spec Circulation

Consider also issues such as compatibility of equipment, selection of the right substrate, salt, test kits & supplements. There are a myriad of options and making the right selection can be confusing, as can ensuring everything works together in harmony.

Fortunately there is now a unique solution that you can view on our page- Check Out The Red Sea MAX Line Of Aquariums
